UE Natural Science

TAUGHT BY

Katie Dugdale

4th-5th Grade

Nature study is important because it provides real-life foundations for all the sciences. Yes, all of them. It encourages higher order thinking skills through observation, investigation, research, comparison, classification, experimentation, and so much more.

We will spend the year studying the natural world around us including, but not limited to the changing seasons, plants, animals and their habitats, and more.

Students will also be introduced to a variety of nature themed literature and poetry.
